Yeah, makes sense. They really need to provide a phone app to tune the fuelling. It isn't going to happen while they are using that shitbox ECU though.

It explains why some report their bikes running lean and other rich.

moto i thought you got a JD tuner for your TPI, did it work with your mods?

Only one refuel for all 5 of us. About the 105km mark I think it was. I reckon he would've been lucky to have a litre left. I had just hit reserve which in the new GGs is very 'early' in the tank(3-3.5L still left I'd guess). In the TPI's defence a carbed 300EXC was on fumes & he took an additional litre in his backpack! Owner loves it so that's the main thing. Older fella too which is good to see

This vid is a good comparison as this 250xc is stock like the 250tpi , it doesnít have a TSP head and a kehian carb.

I do have one yes. It does the job, itís pretty basic but I only need minor tweaks here and there, itís like changing jets on the trail by pressing a button.

I have the idle screw mod to go in but havenít gotten round to fitting. Iím down in the Vic high country for Xmas/New Year so will probably sort it when I get back.

but the XC responds 300% better than the TPI to a head mod

I've just installed the idle screw and posted in my TPI mods thread about the initial results, I won't repost it all here. Long story short, seems to have help fix my last few gripes about the motor.
