Yes, they are leaner and designed to go with the now standard on all 2018s KTMs S4 emulsion tube.

You can change the airscrew to another one with the longer more progressive taper if this is pitter for you and your finding it hard to tune.
Correct twisti, the airscrew that ktm/husky went with is a crap design.

420 main is to lean and asking for engine damage if you get on the throttle.
420 main is the largest main that JD supply. His needles are narrower so I think its fine.

Jd blue needle clip 3.5 pilot 30 main 440 a/s 2 out float height set to as manual says.
I also replaced the 7 spark plug with a 8 and it seemed to help. There is no more burble of idle. Im on the Atherton Tablelands temp, humidity and altitude vary a fair bit up here. But this setting seems to work with only needing minor changes throughout seasons.

Was originally running the KTM Newcastle settings and it ran good on that.

Then changed to the ADB Magazine settings which is 43-72 needle with clip 2nd from top, 42.5 PJ, 450 main, 1.5 AS and difference significantly better with a much smoother and stronger bottom end, felt like it would come on power earlier and still have a great top end!

Now run TSP settings with #8 spark plug after having there head and ignition mods, but am planning to go back and try ADB setting with a bigger main jet and see how it runs with the head and ignition mod.

I ride in places like Belanglo and Wingello state forest etc as well as Louee from time to time.

thanks for that. My bike came with the transmoto settings and was pretty good but felt a bit rich. bottom end was nice and smooth.

the JD kit def runs crisper but I do think ive lost power across the board, mainly bottom and top.

I might give the ADB settings a go, ive seen Braico racing that TE300 and it sounds good.
