Vale Malcolm Fraser

Died today after a short illness, aged 84.
I suppose that most are unaware that Fraser was a keen offroad motorcyclist. I understand that many farmers love their bikes, even if they are viewed as work tools. Fraser did much to lift the profile of dirt biking in Australia.
I'd never heard of KTM before he bought his.

Yep he turned out to e a pretty good bloke after politics, remember the write up in some magazine back a few years about his passion for bikes.

was a true warrior of beliefs.

godspeed to one of our own.

When I was a kid and he became PM I was pretty impressed because he had a Bultaco Matador on his farm

I grew up with a Dad who adored Gough Whittlem, so Fraser didn't get much love in my house.

I respect any person that dedicates their life to public office, despite all the crap they cop from most, I honestly think most are there as they are trying to make the country a better place.
Fraser was one of these for sure. That's quite cool he loved to ride, hope he rests in peace.

If there's an afterlife, I reckon Gough would have had a beer waiting for him.
