I had a good look at other insurance companies but Shannon's appeared to be the best deal so I transferred over to them.

GIO all the way!! Best customer service and competitive premiums which include extras. All my bikes have been between $180-$250 (values between $3,500-$9,000) for comprehensive and I have only had a rider licence a couple of years. My most recent insured bike, a harley was so much cheaper with GIO, I actually thought they must have made a mistake.

QBE for NSW green slips too. Always the cheapest. Good for comprehensive/third party insurance too.

I've also had good experience with woolworths but only on a car.

Different insurers are better for different vehicles, and even specific makes and models. It might be easier just to have all policies with one but I can't help but do seperate if cheaper by a lot. It's easy to check these days with the comparison websites.

Shannons were too dear for my new bike so went with Swann.

On the other hand, Shannons' laid up cover was perfect for my old bike that I haven't sold and is still in the shed. Doesn't cover it while it's being ridden but does cover all other times, including when being transported.

Yep agree ..
GIO for both my cars, House & Contents, and my 4 bikes
Quick hassle FREE with claims through them never once have they argued or tried to get out of payment ...
Then again only ever had 2 claims with them but it was stressless, quick and no effort at all most times the claim was put in and was less than 4weeks until cash in my hand for the repairs/payout !!

Same here. One claim and it was easy as.

One of the best things about gio, is they aren't pushy or try to upsell. Just tell you the premium and let you decide.

Probably a little more expensive than some but I think for the service & hassle FREE claims if you need to deal with them it pays for just that on its own
