Well that's a wrap for the season. It was good to see all 3 championships come down to the final. I love watching the fast pace racing of the Las Vegas track.

The champs all played it smart to get the points needed to secure the championship whilst minimising risk. Although Plessinger did have a good swap early in the race which was a close call.

ET and AC were on fire in their respective classes and hauling. Though they still had some close competition.

I was pretty stoked to see Chad Reed do wel in his heat race. I think the new Husky has made a difference. Hopefully he has the factory bike next year and is in better shape and injury free next season.

Husqvarna won two out of the three championships.

Two.

If someone had have said to us five years ago that would happen we would have spent the last 4.5 years laughing at them.

Blimey.

Roczen Taking Out Webb - Stupidest Move of the Year?

Round 6 - San Diego
3rd February, 2018

- Webb is dating Roczenís previous girlfriend.
- Roczen doesnít like the previous girlfriend and has a new one anyway.
- Thereís huge animosity between Roczen and Webb.
- Roczen attempts to take out Webb in a main (after Webb ran Roczen wide in the previous corner).
- It all goes wrong, resulting in a major hand injury and Roczenís supercross season over.
- Roczen was running second in the championship.

Thatís two supercross seasons in a row for Roczen. The first one was bad luck, but this yearís crash was his own choice.

He finished the previous round in second, both on the night and in overall points (Jason Anderson was ahead by 15 points).

The resulting lack of podium and win bonuses must have cost at least $300-400,000 in future income.

Not to mention the loss of momentum from being laid up for so long.

Heís also paid a bunch of money to represent Honda in a professional and competitive way. So much for that idea.

Itís been a few months nowÖ and Iím still intrigued about the consequences of Roczenís move that night.

Was this the dumbest move in recent seasons?

I just remembered that I actually do own a Husqvarna (one of many unfinished projects... bought it cheap from someone who crashed it whilst riding drunk...).

'Spose I should have a go at getting it closer to one piece sometime soon.
