Beta 200RR?

Probably BS, but old mate sounded like he knew what he was talking about:

Anyone heard anything along these lines?
Maybe a 200 is too much to hope for, but the complete lack of mention of a 144/150 version of the 125RR is a bit weird.

Im waiting on any info myself, trying to make a decision on refreshing my current 2015 RR250 Race and keeping it for another year or so or selling it as is and going without until the "rumoured" RR200 makes an appearance later this year ??
The current RR125 is not likely to get here for quite some time either...

The 200 would be good but i don't think the 125 will sell that well. The 200 would be an excellent older juniors offroad race bike.
My son weighs 52kgs and his 150 ktm is plenty fast enough but the beta 200 would be better for heavier or super quick juniors or smaller lightweight seniors.

Are juniors allowed to race a 200 2 stroke?

That's a yep

And given Betas slightly smaller dimensions then that makes an ideal transition bike from 85s.
