Wed 13th Letter A

8 riders started

jallopy RR390
cloudy EXC300
Grant XT300
Scotty XT250
Scott Frankenbike - Husky WR360 with YZ490 motor and Rekluse
Bill RR300
Brett RR390
Roon GG EC300

Approx 70ks: a great mix of techy single track, smooth flowing single track, some rock climbs (CR500), some open rutted hillclimbs, a little bit of firetrail and a whole heap of fun, well a bit less fun for the Scott and his AirHammer after the kickstarter snapped and due to the Rekluse couldn't be roll started so we just left him there and did the remaining 2/3 of the ride. I went back with his car and trailer just on dusk to retrieve him...

Great day out Roon.

Also good to see you recovered Scott and his bike before dark.
Another reason to hate Rekluse (No roll start possible on this setup)

He actually did roll start the bike after we left him by disconnecting the clutch cable at the bar end and then pulling back on the clutch operating lever as it enters the case, but decided to stay put in case he got lost and he couldn't find his way back to Letter A or return to where we had left him..and the option to retrace his steps wasn't really viable due to that quite steep "downhill" (that would have been a ridiculous uphill) that we did after CR500....
