I spend alot of time there every year with family. I wouldn't call it too populated, paradise.

Where I want to live in some hippy town and not for the bike riding or drugs. If I had of known how nice the NSW coast was 30yrs ago I be living there now. My mate who lives in Woolgoolga tells me itís the riding in Australia just down the road. The Swedish and French backpacker are @#$&ing stunning.

It depends on perspective I guess. I grew up at behind Moonee on our family farm and have watched Coffs and surrounds grow from 10000 to 100000+. Places like Emerald beach, Sandy beach, Moonee were just a few dozen houses near the beach. Sawtell and Woolgoolga were nice coastal villages.
I find the places just a bit north of Woolgoolga and south of Boambee more attractive these days.

In the last 4_5 weeks I've stayed in all of the places shown by blue dots and none of them fits Nuttys criteria. Least of all was Boorooloola. Right now im at Karumba Point and that has possibilities for me but possibibly too many old ****s here for my liking.

My short list is Rainbow Beach or Tin Can Bay but those don't fit the opposition leaders criteria.🐮

You've got good taste DV8!

Nutty would have to ride the hog down Teewah Beach though, to get it serviced within 100Km.
...not sure about NBN either!

One could also consider Rainbow a 'drive thru town', on the way to the thriving grey-nomad metropolis of Inskip Pt

20+yrs ago it was definitely my version of paradise.

forster would be considered a major town?? and its not really drive through, need a decent detour off the freeway to get there and turn off the main road that goes to forster.

Stayed there a heap, a good mate has a house there. It's over 20km to Forster I reckon (on a dodgy road), Taree is the regional town, it's on a loop through Blueys and Lizzie, and there's no way $750K is gonna touch the sides. Nice place though Chef, the problem with BB I see is that the freeway has made it too close to Newy.

Too many units, no shops as such. Little village atmosphere either, place is full of toffs and rich holiday families. Not my cup of tea.
