I am an OBMCC member too, definately a good club.

I am stoked to see the club on here,
I reckon everybody should get out and have a crack at racing,
there is a level for everybody, and it is HEAPS more fun and around the same price as events like the APEX rides, and sunny corner etc.
And you get to do more riding than just 2 x 60-70km loops !

Yes, you need a MA club licence to do the club race days. Classes are as follows

Clubman
Clubman Under 23's
Clubman Over 35's
Over 45's
Experts
Expert Over 35's
Ladies
Junior 85's
Junior 125's/250 4x

We have 8 rounds in the year which include Grass Track, MX, Enduro Sprint, Rally Sprint and Cross Sprint.

We also have trail rides at Clarence, Watagans and Lochmaree and you don't need an MA Licence for these.

Yes that is correct. We had our 2 day AGM trail ride and hired the Jilliby Hall for the Two Days. As you know Saturday (1/12) was a bit wet, but we still managed to get a 4 hour ride in. Sunday was perfect, and went up Hitchcocks to the pines, then down to The Basin, along Murrays Forest Rd, through Lynches Paddock, past Mt Warrawolong, up Watagans Creek Rd, along Old Mill Rd, back to the Pines, down Watagans Forest Road, down Hitchcocks to finish back at the hall.

Oyster Bay MCC is run by volunteers, by members for the members. We normally have 8 club race days and organised a few (about 6) trail rides through the year. Have a look at our website for more information, it's all there.

If you're that keen, we are going next weekend 10th Feb, however you have to be a club member, so join today, send me an email and I'll put you on the list.
