On a carby bike you set all these parameters up at their optimum setting and jet to suit. On a TPI bike your JETTING is static and all these parameters need to be carefully setup. Arse about face to tuning a carby bike,
Yeah, makes sense. They really need to provide a phone app to tune the fuelling. It isn't going to happen while they are using that shitbox ECU though.

It explains why some report their bikes running lean and other rich.

How many times did He...the 300TPI... refuel ?

So Based on previous posts and guestimates in this thread, on fuel consumption of said model, He would of at least gone thru 90% of his second tank!

Only one refuel for all 5 of us. About the 105km mark I think it was. I reckon he would've been lucky to have a litre left. I had just hit reserve which in the new GGs is very 'early' in the tank(3-3.5L still left I'd guess). In the TPI's defence a carbed 300EXC was on fumes & he took an additional litre in his backpack! Owner loves it so that's the main thing. Older fella too which is good to see

TPI idle

This vid is a good comparison as this 250xc is stock like the 250tpi , it doesn’t have a TSP head and a kehian carb.

And if your worried about drowning your TPI same process as dewatering your Carb bike.
