Thumbs up Husqvarna 2008 Te 450 Friction Plates

I SNAPPED A FRICTION PLATE , so i thought i would get a set of friction plates , $310 i have to buy a set of friction and steel plates together , there are 8 friction plates and 7 steel , Barnett do a set aftermarket , i will enquire from the Aussie distributor , someone else out there must have bought some husky friction plates for there clutch before , i have to pull it apart but apparently the Honda CRF450 frictions may be the same around the $140 .

Friction plates to fit most MX and Enduro motorbikes $85 as per Ballards 2009 Catalogue. Find it hard to believe they couldn't get Husky one's for a reasonable price

Okay i rang Ballards and there getting me a price , me mate hinted the CRF 450 were the same plates , i checked the BARNETT CLUTCH SITE and yep same part numbers , so i may just order a set of CRF 450R PLATES AND SEE HOW WE GO . Ballards said Goodyear were good and the cheapest ADD $50 for BARNETT plates add another $50 for HINSON PLATES .I went the Goodyear friction plates , they are good quality.

I sent barnett an email and asked them the question.

The husky TE 450 08 model and the Honda CRF 450R 2002-09 & 2005-09 CRF450X model have the same part numbers 301-35-10012 8 off does that mean they are the same item and can be interchanged .

Yes, that is correct. The two bikes basically use the same plates, but different springs.

Thank you for your interest in our products.
