Sometimes engineers are made to use what is currently held in the factory inventory.
This great for those of us who stick with a particular brand of motorcycle and are able to move accessories and spares onto successive new models.

Nothing wore annoying than a brand that continually changes the size of things like wheel bearings, seals and the like.

For example, I have been able move my Scotts Damper through a range of KTM's since 2003. The '19 500 required a bit of modification to fit the post bracket, but nothing too serious.

As most are outside this a tuner is needed. Faster riders and racers will just about all seek a tuner to get better performance.
Never ridden cv48 but they are top shelf expensive options.

I'd second that CC seems best for the faster guy, OC much nicer for enduro and trailriding.

Early xplors and 4cs are the worst
