KTM 2017 Standard fork spring

Long shot but chasing standard fork springs for my 2017 300exc.
Bought the bike with the suspension already done and the front end is way to hard.
Located Sydney.

Gumtree, Ebay, FB market place? I've found a few different springs on those. Different models use different weights so a bit of research can pay dividends.

How much do you weigh fully geared up?
Stock 300 exc rates are 4.2's which suit 75 to max'm 85kgs fully geared up with your full backpack.
A rough guide is for each extra 10kgs over this you need to go up an extra spring rate. If under 75kg's you go down a spring rate per every10kgs.
Fast riders will be up at least a rate of this guide.
Spring rates are for only holding the bike up and valving is used for dampning.

80kg no gear.
Will be taking the forks to Frank Pons to get sorted just thought I might jag some springs from someone that have gone up a rate or 2

I have a set of 4.0's out of my 2018 250 after 4 hours. Part # 91410100S. I am in Sydney, see what Frank reckons for your setup.

Gear varies between riders from about 10kgs up. Mine is +23kgs with tools, spares, food and 3ltr's of water.
Also remember to allow for the sprung weight of all the extra's on the bike like the fan, bark busters,rad/exhaust guards, steg pegs, gps, etc as often these are overlooked by the rider and some suspension tuners. This can vary greatly between bikes and riders and effects the springs rates compared to the stock bike as it was delivered.
