KTM are even discounting new bikes! New KTM450exc 2019 for $11600. I know the 2020 models are out but Iíve never seen KTM knock $3000 off a new bike.
Iíve seen some low hour KTMís sell for $8000 while identical bikes are advertised for $13000.

And there are still dreamers trying to sell their used 2019s for more than or close to new run out prices.

KTM Australia is now owned and run by the Parent company.

aaaahh so KTM Australia was the one bending people over, so now prices will be more realistic, and, bring others down to proper pricing too.

Maybe they can do something about the ridiculous spare parts pricing.

I think itís more a sign of the times. Most prices went up when KTM took over, including spares. 3 years of drought has definitely slowed the economy down, especially in rural Australia. Everyone is in survival mode.

Nope. For some reason, KTM was charging Australia more than they did for other markets. It was something they were constantly arguing about.

Parts for my Yamahas and Hondas were just as expensive, if not more so for some. For some reason KTM gets bagged for doing exactly what has been common practice in the automotive industry since day 1.

Not saying it's right, just that they're not alone.

This, things in the market aren't all that rosy. Car sales are down too

I recently replaced piston, head and base gasket and intake cam in a 250 SXF.
Parts total for genuine KTM parts $871.30.

The same parts for the same year YZ250F $562.85

The price difference is pretty much the same across the board with KTM parts.

And I think yamaha parts are overpriced too...

Have a look at what the yanks pay for KTM parts, they are actually cheaper than Yamaha parts over there.

250 sxf cam - $131. 98 US
YZ250F cam - $169.86 US

We get royally screwed on KTM parts.

Great...maybe the pricing of all automotive vehicles will come down in price to a more realistic level???!!!
All good for profiteering when times are good...but times haven't been that great lately yet vehicle prices keep on truckin...
