Exclamation SA Meeting Points

Maps and Directions
to get to common meeting or starting points for SA rides

If you want a location added just add it

(We REALLY need to keep it to one post per location, so I reserve the right to cut-n-shut some posts so that people looking for info can find it easy.)

not really mate generally when you nominate for a fide you will be told where it is and when to be there, tend not to put exact locations up in an open forum like this.

Wow, blast from the past... These threads were made in a bit of a different climate to what we're operating in now... Definitely not so sure they're such a good idea now.

I am new to SA Dirt biking (originally from QLD) but I'm guessing the new climate is muppets on unreg bikes???

Nah, this sort thing/mindset It's not a SA specific issue/problem, but due to the possible/actual political/image implcations of pics/vids and legalities/indemnities arising from information/threads .... Basically resulting in profanities/tears.

The biggest drama is over riden spots. A clear example is the Sellicks Hill track in SA. 2 years ago you could ride it all weekend and see a hand full of real bikes. Now you could count 50, most chineese and half the hills are now fenced off, only a matter of time b4 the rest is. Pellican Point rings a bell too and the sand tracks up at the Bridge. These days our riding spots are gold and kept quiet to preserve future riding. Thats the way i go about it anyway.

yes but if you're new to SA (like me for one) it makes it hard to find riding areas.

tagging along on the organised rides on here is good but then i have only had time to make it on one so far (mechanical problems prevented me from going on a second...)
