2003 kdx 200 gearing

just picked up a pretty good kdx 200.

before i cut the chain to fit 13/47 sprockets.

what gearing are people running for tech single track? typically riding central coast bush NSW.

Anyone still riding a 200?.

i have read a few posts on KDXrider
whilst drive ratios vary. lots of guys running 13/47 which i believe is stock.

Just wanted to check what people are running locally

my XR250 has 13/48 and that is good in the bush. So i figure the KDX won't be that far off?

have not cut the chain yet

first ride today with 13/47.

did some 1st gear rock crawling, feels fine.

i am quite surprised how much torque it has. great little motor in stock trim and easy to ride. low noise emissions as well
