I don't know about all these measures? Surely the virus is going to get spread eventually anyway? This only seems like delaying tactics to me. Look what happened when they kept everyone on the boat. -10% got it fairly quickly. They are now keeping the whole Italian population indoors. My bet is they'll still spread it amongst themselves. Let's get it out there and get some resistance happening.

If we don’t shutdown early and thoroughly, we’ll be like Italy quite soon.
Hong Kong, Singapore & South Korea have shown us how to deal with this.

Italy, UK & USA are showing us how to fail.
History suggests we’ll follow the western example.

The number of cases doubles about every 4 days, do the math.
In a few short weeks the GP will be the last thing on our minds

The point is to slow down the infection rate so everyone doesn't get it at once and overload the medical system like what is happening in Italy at the moment. Health systems are not built with prolonged surge capacity available. That way with smaller numbers those that take a turn for the worse and require treatmentcan get proper medical treatment with the required resources.

It's an unfortunate situation but I don't think governments and organisations take these things lightly.

Should quarantine off Philip island and run 3 rounds over 3 weekends there. Would be epic. Could run reverse grid for weekend 3 to mix it up even better.

I want a refund on my subscription

Motogp surely must give refunds to subscribers, especially in the light of this announcement.
