I thought if I bought AVG Pro it would stop giving me notifications to UPGRADE.

I was WRONG.

Apparently now I need the WHOLE AVG MAINTENANCE PACKAGE.

I've been using Eset for longer than I can remember.
Very happy with it.
Most of the time you just forget it's there, until it lets you know you're trying to open some dodgy page or a site is trying access your shit.

Seems even Telstra is protecting me from myself.

Looks like I'm up for a new TV tuner card though, since I can't access W7 drivers for my old one.

Windows saved the day, put the card in another slot, Windows advised me to change settings and let it find the driver.

Telstra Mail suspended my account yesterday, somebody tried to send me a virus so they caught it at the server. A phone call and a 10 minute wait had me back in action.

Still not running antivirus, so just as well that they caught it.
