Excellent ride I thought as you said coming from last to 21st and also beating swolle on the last lap better start in 2nd and kept pushing right to the end again so top rookie finish out of the class of 2019 and it ainít over yet ! Rule is amateur riders can ride 3 pro events so heís in for the next 2 rounds as well to finish out the year
Be hard to keep him as an amateur if he keeps performing

Moto1 - 21st ... No.496 was 13th first lap around...then 2nd lap - he was in last possy!
Crashed or was crashed out ? dont know. Anyway he
Chased his way thru the pack to pick off half of them.
And remained the last of the low finishers who were on the same the lap as the winner.
So he showed pluck courage commitment to get the head down and push on.
That will be Good experience in the memory bank right there.

Moto 2- 15th after the first lap ....so another decent start for a rookie (at 16yr of age) amongst men.
And then kept climbing up the field all moto long to be less than a cple of seconds behind Hampshire in 7th, his snr teammate on similar (?) bike.

Nope he did everything you could realistically expect -
- finished both motos - fit healthy and undamaged. That's a big thing given HL's record!
- rode with surety on what even Ferrandis & Roczen said was a tricky layout.
- finished clear of his amateur peers - all 3 of them.

So as a 13yr old his left his home travelled for 3 yrs in Europe now US and taken on the challenges thrown at him.....
Blows your mind really....

Ohh ffs .....Bring on MXoN 2022 ! Team Australia
I think the best thing happened there, the worst scenario would be to holeshot and get mowed down ,mentally destroying even. Coming from behind in your first pro race really fires the belly up for the future.

I think what he did was phenomenal for a kid who has just turned 16 this week. Mind blowing.

I am absolutely blown away by Jettís ride. I thought about 17th if everything went well and after the first race, coming from last to 21st was unreal. But moto 2 getting all the way up to 8th, getting Martin in the last couple of corners and then close right up to Hampshire was just epic. Iím so stoked for the kid and canít wait for his next ride.

Seen twice now reference to Hunter having had his shoulder plated and
wanting to do last 2 rounds.
S'pose in a few days we'll know....
And he's nominated for MxoN at Assen.
Good to see US Honda giving him support.

Better rub of the green than Kawasaki did for their two USA lads.
