Mystery of the abandoned bikes solved.

From Facebook:

"The two blokes got themselves into a mischief Sunday a week ago, went for a ride found the exit point of said track around 4pm decide to go down it then that's where they went wrong spent hours down there with daylight gone, trying to get through the track during the day can be a challenge. Got to the entry point which has a very steep and a few very tight turns on it decided it was best to leave the bikes and make the 15km trek back to the car at onley headquarters got back well after 10pm. They had stuff to do this weekend just gone and thought the bikes might still be there so went out this arvo and got them with some long rope and pulleys. In hindsight they maybe shouldn't have gone down a track that they didn't know that late in the day or ridden out the right way but didn't know if they could get out that way either."

By the sound of it the bikes were fine, but it got late and it sounds like they were eventually riding the null for the first time in the dark (backwards)

So they decided to walk out.

A little clip of Murph, Jim and Michael negotiating a off-camber slippery root section (I think this is called wolf?).
