Use it or lose it I apply to one body part but it doesn't have bones and joints.

Overuse may be possible for joints, at least at athlete levels and some repetitive jobs.

Physically hard jobs are thought to shorten life span, still if you're fit and active until you drop that's OK.

So....knew something would crop up coz your heart talks to your brain, Doc heard turbulent blood flow last check a coupla weeks ago, Got the CACS and ECG. Back to docs today, ECG showed bicuspid aortic valve.

Cardioligist Thursday, don't want to use extra beats up on a leaky valve.

Doc says only advice for now is no heavy lifting.

Seems these signs of ageing I've been getting that have slowed me down a little were doing me a service.

Follow it up thoroughly Tom, you are a far too valuable asset to this society to go before your time...

I had my Aortic & Mitral valves replaced in 2010 with a couple of Bovine 1s , took me about 12+ months to get reasonably fit, but as my Cardiologist said he hasn't seen many people who require 2 valves replaced
You are usually born with bicuspid valves, so sooner or latter the leak gets to a point were they need to be replaced !
