2019 A4DE? When, where?

Apologies if I have missed it, but is there a location and/or date for next year's Four Day?

Google isn't helping me.

We've been on the lookout since Cessnock, when we found out Tas was no longer an option.

Haven't heard a single plan, option, rumour or whisper.
It's not looking promising.

Local Councils/Govt, environmental agencies, do-gooders, rare grasses, volunteers, permits, Police, Traffic Management, available private properties etc etc etc etc etc.
So many hurdles to get over, not enough time left for 2019.

Cessnock was near 2 years in planning before being announced.

I was thinking the same thing and logging on to start a thread asking about it. MA had EOI open in Feb and they closed in March. They normally announce at the end of the 4 day, who will host the following year. You would think that the club taking it on would be looking to kick start promotions by now?

First I've heard of that.

There is also a rumour getting around that there is no 4 day next year. Apparently tried to coax Toowoomba club back with no luck for next year too. Tassie for 2020

MA, couldn't run a chook raffle.

It is seriously time for the NSW Government to remove MAs legislated right to be the only controlling body for motorcycle racing.

You young blokes need to take this up. The ONLY way to save bike racing is to remove these people and start again.

Bike drag racing is the only thing thriving, guess why...

Ma and the Scb's are sucking the guts out of their participants for no return. They don't actively promote the sport to the wider community, to our detriment.

AASA will provide good insurance cover for non-MA events.

If there is any legislation that only allows MA events in NSW, and anyone is stupid enough to try to enforce it, then it will be blown out of the water very quickly.
CAMS has tried the same nonsense, and lost.

NSW Speedways Act if you're keen for a read Nath. The JMCCA tried to fight the Act and the MA teamed up with the government of the day and blew off the JMCCA (circa 1991). That's the history of things, no-ones' had a go at the MA since...

Lots of us received warning letters for competing in 'black' events back in the 80s. It's time to bust the MA's legislated monopoly.
