Webb, Webb

Reedy DNS in the second one due to bike drama.

Reedy 5th in the last one. He held off KRoc for quite a while too.

Am I right in thinking Tomac goes really well on the rougher tracks?

That track looked bloody hard.

This 'Rubbing is racing' stuff shits me though, it's invariably used as an excuse by bash-merchants at club days to cover for the fact that they can't ride for shit.

I won't go further into it, but suffice to say that EVERY rider I've ever heard trot that BS out has been S L O W. Good riders pass cleanly, that's the long and short of it.

All good but we have to agree to disagree. Even paraphrasing the goat on todays telecast. All these riders are so good they know the fastest way around a track. That makes passing hard, so sometimes you have push it a little to make it stick. I rest my case, seems rubbing is more so at the top end of town. I don't believe anybody goes in to take somebody out deliberately when passing, Bar a few exceptions like Bob Hannah. ( Motocross files on YouTube if you want a good insight) Block passing yes, but a good rider sees it coming and does not turn down unless he aims to take the guy out!!

Anyway, Was it a bike issue or a CR issue? Me thinking the later maybe. Sure rode angry and fast till mistakes took over. CR and Anderson had a nice RUB too, with Anderson coming of second best. Good to see Webb on top. Bit of fresh blood. Bring on next week

Ha! Anderson went from pointy-end to last. Suck a bat.

Now SF, that WAS just a racing incident or 'rub' as you call it. No malice, pre-planning or crude riding. Karma is a bitch. Galations 6:7

Might have been Karma from Vegas a couple of years ago...... taking Reedy's podium shot away.

Some quick, shallow thoughts

Web rode very well this round, no specific reason but I cant take him seriously as a title contender.
ET is lurking. He's not carrying that next level super confident speed, yet.
KR looks to be staying inside his comfort zone more than previous years, no surprise. He'll be in the top3 at then end.
Cole Seely, also riding inside his box, solid return from such an injury.
Marv, whoops, no change.
Barcia got more screen time after he fell than for the rest of the event. 1 hit wonder and spent it all at the first round imo. Hope his OK and makes a return to racing soon.
There will definitely be a new No.1 next year.

Plessinger is my pick for rookie of the season.

Ciancarillo, confidently snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, again.
