I'll have to see what happens once it is run in, but I think I'll be fitting the intermediate exhaust end cap insert like I did with my 2014 to tone it down a bit...
You're living in 2008 Jimmeh, a minor tweak of the tune will fix that.

Yeah probably could but that would cost a few bob however I try to go about it, plus spare time I don't have right now. I think you'll always have a trade off between a full open exhaust with great top end and a good bottom end. The insert gave an ok compromise but we'll see how this one's going once things bed in. I know the synerject has an idle set screw that can be tweaked too which may help with some of what I can feel.

Be careful doing this. Find a DVM with 50-100Mohms/V input impedance. The slightest load on the Synerjets TPI input will affect the setting. 0.02V either way will cause a big change in the tune.

Yep as Nutty said very very small adjustments with it will change it greatly.
On my 16' Ive gone up by .02V and has brought the power hit right off idle that suits me. But in doing that its lost a bit of topend as well, which I have no interest in really.
It has moved where the map comes in by about 1/8th to 1/4 throttle position now that might not suit everyone.

I've set my 15 sefr 300 @ 0.52v & it has a very lineal power spread, it's all most electric like.
A few people have ridden it & comment on how smooth the power is, there is even a bit of over rev just when you think the power has stopped you get that little bit more. Even though i'm not really into revving a motor like i used to be

Thanks for the heads up mate. I set the TPS on my '13 KTM500 but never bothered/needed to worry about it with my '14 Sherco. Will definitely have a look and see what it's set at.

Are you wanting to detune it? If so why not use the soft map instead?
