The opportunity to sit at the table with the people that make the decisions to close riders out.
Access to State Forests where possible
Consultation prior to closing areas off.
May also get into a position where we can deal with Shooters and Fishers a bit more often and or get some leverage out of them.
The NSW 4Wd Association are trying to get to the table as well and our submissions upporting their submission means the message is the same from several different sources therefor we may have a valid case etc.
Getting closed out of areas without any input blows and if we can at least get to the table we may then hear of other areas under consideration before they make the decisions. This approach ahs been working with the road bike riders and we are at the table with the MAA, Transport and RMS having direct input inot policy decisions. If we can get to that place with dirt bike riders that would be a good thing.
Agreed.

I suspect most, like me, just find it all too hard to spend the time sucking up and playing the game.

It's easier to take your plate off and go have fun, wire cables are easy to ride around or over.

Full credit to those like you CJ.

Rideo, like everything in Govco it takes time to make the wheels spin.
The standing committee had the Shooters and Fishers on it who helped a great deal in knocking back the recent cr@p legislation for CTP.
They are working with the 4 wheel drivers and riders for better access and what we did was give them some more ammo.
I'll get an update and get back to you

The Motorcycle Council of NSW is now in a position to advise a Federal Senator on the issues of track closures and lock outs in areas along with motorcycle policy.
Yes I know the tracks are a State issue BUT pressure cans till come from the Fed's to the states on issues like this.

If everyone can keep posting track closures in this thread and make sure the previous posts are still valid I will compile a list and get it off to this bloke for his data base.
