All good, car is immaculate. Pre purchase inspection came up sweet.

You will never save the extra purchase cost of a diesel in fuel savings...
Nutty,

Just curious if you can expand on the tyre wear differences between diesel and petrol V8.

I'd love to see the weight difference between the Patrol's V8 and the cruisers boat anchor over the front axle

Al's nailed it.
Front: Increased load over front axle AND greater F:R weight distribution, more push into turns
Rear: More torque being applied to the tyre contact patch.

Skie's 4.5 petrol and Pete's 5.7 Lexus both handle and steer significantly better than a diesel 4.5.

The Lexus is the bomb! Such a brilliant car, my next car for sure.
The Nissan is great dynamically but I barf looking at it.

Very different cars. The Lexus has a 8speed auto Vs 6speed.
All stock-order Lexus are petrol and all stock-order Saharas are diesels.
The Nissan's an awesome car for the cash but it's not in the Lexus' class of vehicle. The Lexus is 50% dearer, value for money the Nissan is the winner.
