Roadbikes

How many of you ride roadies too? I sold my dirtbike and bought a roadie and the wife kept her dirtbike (so i can use whenever i am allowed). I had already decided my next dirtbike will be either a 250 4t or a 300 2t and was ready to sell up.

In the meantime I have had a hankering to get back on the road...so i bought a VTR1000 vtwin, and shit a brick...its got some amazing, usable power.

Anyone else ride road, what you got?

I ride the road a bit, borrow from the father in law either a 1400 gtr kawasaki tourer which is a great bike to get out and do some big k's on or an 800 suzuki boulavard cruiser with not alot of go but a good bike to ride. No decent riding roads real close to here but have done a few weekend trips over to coffs and port which can be fun.

I've ridden both for years and I wouldn't give up either, but if you plan on keeping your license dirt is a million more times fun than riding on the road. And your stack to hospital ratio is much better! Track is awesome though. Get so tired of the tickets and blablabla.
Ducati 1198.
