Jimmy, we had a dirtbikeworld road ride about 2 years ago. It was a fun day
Hahaha i know ppl talk shit but...i bought my bike brand new in 09 and for the first nearly 2 ish years it was the 1198 with the highest ks in Aus. Dealer would get callbacks from head office when ordering parts to double check the ks. Haha rode it to phillip island the most of the way around aus 12000ks 5 states in 3 weeks yeowwwwww.

Got so good at riding on a hangover that trip hahahahah. And guess how many break downs? One radiator in the first month then nothing absolutely love it! Especially after i splashed out on the full termi system. Scares two fiddys on the overtake lolol. Naughty.

Me pics didn't work before.

With NoIdea a couple monthgs back.

I used to love thrashing my SV1000S around the sunny coast hinterland. Stanley River Road still gives me wood remembering riding it!

Maybe we need a DirtbikeWorld road riding day out (in vicco?)

Loza i was thinking about a cruiser for a while, a VS1400, but i rode the neighbours harley recently and was a little bit unenthused. I considered a GSX1400 but no chance for th wife t use it and always liked the VTRs and I bought an 03 and had change with the money i got for my 05 husky.

excellent taste there Jimmy.

one of the most fun bikes I've ever owned, COG is so low, monos are piss-easy, corners are a mere thought away, and I do a little knuckle dragging on low-speed hairpins, so flickable yet stan\ble, very nicely designed and executed cycles..

Nice!! I am going to ask a dumb question, is that actually old or is it one of those new / old ones? Stanley river road gave me a fcking ticket last time i was up a few weeks ago but agreed best roads ever.

Yeah new old.

It's long slow and heavy. Which helps with the fines...

Connondale to Kenilworth is another favourite! Did it on a mate's motarded drz400 last time. Heaps of fun!

That was just after I took my niece for her first motorbike ride. Up the driveway and around the side of the house. Poor little kid wasn't too sure! Hehe

I was a bit put off at the idea of a cruiser, but as soon as i rode it i was hooked. Old fella keeps bugging me to buy it ( i already pay running costs) but i always fire back with," why would i buy it now when i can ride it some more and drop whatever value it has and buy it cheap later ", stirs him up a bit.
