Talking Rodeo!

Well I know there are some North QLD people out here, and I only just thought to mention this.

But if anyone heads out to the Mareeba Rodeo tomorrow, and catches the novice bull ride (due to start about 9:50am) they will get to see me in my first ever proper rodeo, second time ever on a bull.

I am meant to be out 7th, look/listen for the name Ben Oxwell if ya go.

If not, any luck you can spare would help!

Don't think I would ever have the guts to do that, but good luck and let us know how it goes!

I am back and jeebus I am sore!

Some of the more epxerienced guys helped me out, and got me roped in. The bull was a tiny little thing, which really should of been my warning to hold the hell on extra tight.

I think I lasted about 4 or 5, maybe at best 6 seconds. It was good fun, and hopefully shall be done again soon

I think only about 4 of about 12 of the novices stayed on when I rode, there are two more novice events today, but I decided to get some sleep. I don't think anyone lasted in the open bull ride. Damn those were some nasty bulls!

Thanks for the luck
