Free Seat Mod>>>>>>

Another option is to remove the seat cover, remove the foam ang get a holesaw and drill holes in the foam from the bottom, but not all the way thru....leave an inch or so from the top. Then slap it all back together!

This means the foam will be a little more giving when your weight is on it but no good if you are too tall as you will sit a little lower.

That will make it worse on a GasGas as the standard stuff is so soft and thin. Also water will stuff the foam if it gets in there.

Only had 1 ride of my Gasser and my main complaint was the hard seat.

Much harder than the wrf.

Was thinking along these options:
1. Remove cover and glue on some more foam. (Have trimmed Dad's old KLX seat shorter so this should be easy enough)
2. Install one of those lambs wool covers over the top. May be a bit harder to get and probably cost more, but wouldn't need to take the old seat cover off.

Or is option 2 only for DR650's ? :P

Gutz offers a tall or standard foam replacement, in either hard, stock or soft compounds.

Any upholstery joint should be able to supply a layer of foam to run across the top if needed as well.

Standard advice is... 'stand up'!

You could try coring out the seat foam to see if it helps, check out the link below.
