Nah didn't end up getting Rick to do it, was going to be a pita to get to Albury.

So OEM cam chain, OEM intake valves and springs, OEM Piston all in. They put up a bit of a fight but i got there in the end. Thanks Rideo for the flywheel puller and holder, worked a treat.

Also went to a 13-52t sprocket from 13-49 and i like it, it feels a lot less prone to stalling with the OEM piston compared to the high comp JE. Chain was only just long enough but to fit the big sprocket though.

Q4.... can't fit ya hand between the gaurd and muffler to lift the bike with lexx. You end up having to use a tugger strap which gives you an awkward lifting point...

The Q4 is up around $440 and i really do throw my bike on the rocks pretty often, and i'd hate to trash a pipe worth that much

I dont think there's gonna be a big performance difference. I was gonna get the lexx for my new bike, but i just cant risk hurting my back lifting it awkwardly. Doesn't appear to be room to spacer out the the lexx from what I can tell. If I was left handed it would be different...

I've done 540hrs on my FMF. Its a bit second hand now. Few dents, but does what it's meant to do.

How do you guys like your 250x's? How reliable are they?

I'm looking at option for my next bike at the moment, and see that alot of people have many issues with their 250x's and other people say they check their valve clearances at 150 hrs and they are still in spec.

I sold mine. Pretty uninspiring bike. I was also really slow on it even though I thought I was going fast. Checking valves every ride also got way too tedious.

My 09s valves closed up at 120 hours. On 170 hours now. No need to check valves every ride, the bike will get hard to start when the valves start moving.

If all you like doing is open trail stuff then its not the bike for you. Had mine for 2 years and its been great for hard tight single. No its not an exciting bike.

Done a couple of enduro races and i'm firmly of the belief that if someone is faster than you its probably not your bikes fault, they are just better than you.
