Me too. I like looking at marketplace, but otherwise I'm mostly only in joke groups on FB.

Sure was.

Along with other gems like drilling out your knobbies for more traction

Apparently there were plenty of people who swore by the drilled knobbies. Plenty of newer tyre designs have recessed contact points on the knobs, so maybe they stumbled onto a good idea entirely by accident?

Probably the same people that swear by trials tyres on enduro bikes.

They also did a budget nitrous kit with a can of aerostart and components.

Imagine a bike with a can of V8 Veggie juice in the tank, the Aerostart nitrous kit and the drilled knobbies. Would be fkng unbeatable, ay??

I must be dense, but surely if you dilute your fuel ( with oil) then there is less fuel per volume and you've reduced the octane rating. I guess it mightn't seize due to the amount of 2T oil but presumably it wont perform as well.

Reduced Octane, depends on the oil, and so what unless you have outragous compression. Octane isn't power, it's a detonation suppressant.

Oil is a fuel.

Does this qualify me.

Yes, and thanks! I guess that's what I meant- reduced detonation protection, mind you most 2T runs relatively pretty low compression I guess.Maybe for this reason!
