It's more at home on fire trails and open roads , this thing is a around Australia machine no doubt , the only mods needed are , tyres , comfort seat option as the standard one is truly shit and maybe gearing but that's not necessary unless you're riding single track , the engine has nice old school torque . with some pipe work and tuning they tell me it's another beast all toghether , something I'll do maybe mid year .

Thanks for that how does it go on the twisty/mountain tar roads. If you put on a different exhaust can you map it to suit somehow. As it is the Husky engine is there a choice of exhausts to choose from for it?

Keeping in mind i have the X MODEL which is the offroad version as opposed to the T model , it's engine is well suited to punting along at moderate to fast speeds , it handles well as the weight feels low , it gives plenty of confidence to lay it right over and power out of corners , the only hold back is the single rotor up front but it does the job pretty good . Some blokes mod the existing pipes and I've seen Remus pipes , they do a re map and by what I've heard absolutely transforms the bike . Join SWM on Facebook , there's some switched on guys on there that know the bikes back to front .

Still loving this bike , it's crash proof too as I hit the deck pretty hard today , I wasn't going to but I think it needs a pipe and tune , there's some grunt in there I'd like to get my hands on , I'm jumping it off washouts so suspension might need a tweak in the future when it's due .

One of the best mods I ever did was to match the Inlet-Manifold to the Head.
It sounds hard & complicated but it's actually quite easy. It must be if I did it.

Bolt cardboard in-place of your gasket... Compare/view each of those two sides.
Shove a rag in the hole & Dremel or Die-grind to match the manifold to the head.

I noticed a significant difference after that.
Holding a wheelstand in top became easier.
