Need Female riders for Womens Class

Hi all,

Any girls out there that have considered racing in the VORC?

This year they ran a class but was short of the required 6 riders, so hoping we can manage to get a full class running for next year.

I will be racing the whole series next year, its been two years since I have done the VORC and I'm really looking forward to it.

There are three of us registered to race so far but we need as many girls as we can get. So if any of you are keen please contact me.

Have had confirmation that there will be a Womens Class which is fantastic news.

The calendar is showing 6 weekends of racing from March to August.
Type of races are:
Cross Country - roughly a half hour loop ridden non stop for 2hrs, first over the line is the winner.

Sprints - race a 15 min loop once a number of times during the day. Quickest cumulative times is the winner.

Enduro - all day race which had trail sections and special tests. Winner is the one who has accumulated the least points.

You will need a MA race license abs to get this you will need to be member of a MA affiliated club.

You can either hire or buy a transponder which is used for timing.

You will need to register on the VORC site and select a race no.

If your interested/need more info post up or PM me.

Yeah should be a great season, however have excess baby weight to lose and need to get fitness back, going to be a tough slog for the next two months.

My numbers are in the mail, need to pull finger and figure out what parts we need to buy.

No special colours for women this year
So just the black numbers on yellow background, this is unless you've registered as an expert or pro...

Hi KT. I thought the same thing last year before I started VORC but really the terrain is not hard. And you just have to ride to your ability and fitness level. You will finish every race.

Also, it really re-adjusts your mindset and makes you realise you're capable of much more than you thought.

As my tough as punch happy mate, Jack, says... Don't let the fear stop ya
