I'm all for it. The Husaberg.org site has this function through Tapatalk. I think it's called something else though, but same concept.

Fair dinkum DV, you'd find a down-side to a head job. It works fine and certainly does help foster a degree of civility and good karma. If peeps want to get on a forum and help others, even if it is to feed their ego, what harm does that do?

Look on the bright side mate, cheer up. Negativity is contagious.

This just proves my point, we are discussing it aren't we?

Negativity is irrelevant. Don't you think this thread would be a bit boring if it were just your original post with x likes?

In my mind, taking the time to actually write a reply, even if it's just a 'like' such as in this thread, is doing a whole lot more to promote civility.

And don't get me started on head jobs...

I inhabit another vehicle based forum that has a thanks button and it works well.
I've often thought it could be useful here.

You don't fully comprehend the issue. It's not possible to 'like' or 'thank' unless you've actually replied. The VB platform is not Facebook.

As for negativity, go back over your last 50 posts and have an objective look at your input mate. 90% of your posts are either gainsaying or whinging. It doesn't worry me in the slightest, however, I sympathise for you. Have a nice day brother.
