I put the post up out of frustration and an intent to let late model Isuzu owners know the situation. I'll sort it out without any input from you losers.

It's not the end of the world FFS, although I'm not happy that the issue seems to be being hidden by IUA.

A good days work and it's fixed. A new evap is on its way. If I move the car on it's my choice, nothing to do with you two bob losers.

Weak as piss.
Ahh finally some vintage 2015 Nutty. You go gurl!

Bloody hell mate, relax.

Not sure anyone was gloating and/or happy to see it fail, just confused as to how quickly it went from the greatest car to wanting to get rid of it over one issue.

If asking a basic question like that makes me a loser then so be it.

As the owner of a 2017 D Max I care Nutty.
Thanks for the heads up but I guess there isn't much I can do to pre empt my Evap blowing out, it'll either happen or it won't.
Fingers crossed but as you say it's not the end of the world.

Mine's approaching 60,000k's without a single issue.
I must say I don't have much confidence in my local dealer. I didn't get the free service deal, only capped price servicing for the first 50,000 which is also capped work, eg for 50,000 the book says "tighten wheel nuts and lubricate tailshaft" That's it. Did it myself as it was easier than talking to them.
After the 40,000 service I asked the service manager how often the fuel filter gets changed . He didn't know and had to go and ask someone. The answer was "only when the warning light comes on."
I've changed it twice since then without the warning light coming on.
