help with current light wiring

Hi, I'm a complete dummy when it comes to this
just purchased a CRF150 2009 electric start, apparently it used to have a rec reg but its been disconnected, I'm trying to make sense out of the wiring, hopefully someone can help me
*I'm aware the front LEDs are probably not suitable for Vic roads

so I can't see where the red wire goes its been snipped

Positive terminal of the battery

Probably worth while getting a service manual which should have wiring diagrams just to be sure.

Hi, so where does the other one go to, maybe the negative side of the battery? I assume it went to the positive
where the red has been snipped is up near the handle bars, cant find the other end anywhere, maybe totally removed?

this is an add on for rec reg, wont be in the manual I wouldn't think as its not factory

Are you talking rectifier regulator here or recreational registration?

Does it have a horn fitted?

If so is the switch still on the bars?

It doesn't make sense looking at your pic that the red wire used to go to the battery, there should have been another wire coming out where the grey one is.

How so, aren't most of my posts badly constructed and full of waffle?

Hi there recreational registration, apparently it used to have one, although the foot brake plunger is also missing
no horn fitted or light switch, get the impression the lights come on when the bike is running

Do you have the smarts to be able to rip all that shit out and just start again making your own loom?

With those bits missing it makes me wonder if they ever were fitted up at all, some fairly dodgy sh1t gets put through under rec reg at times.

A clean start means less hassles imo, who knows what is under that loom tape.
