TTR250 Handle bars

I took a noob out for his first serious dirt ride a couple of weeks ago & he did very well but did sustain some damage to his newly acquired 2009 TTR250. Both levers, 1 indicator & bent handle bars. Bugger! To his credit he did bring with him spare levers.
Bark busters should solve the levers problem long term, removing the indicators should solve that problem but what recommendations for replacement bars are out there & does anybody have some they could part with? He’s a uni student so not flush with cash. The original bars bent way too easily as the off wasn’t that bad.

Hey Andrew, I have some new stock DR650 bars (Steel 7/8" 22mm) he can have. PM for pick up / drop off if he's keen.

Yep the original bars are junk. Can not remember what I used on mine but plenty of info on TTr250.com.

They’ve been replaced with a Renthal solution.
