Yesterday range Sherco Enduro 2014 was officially unveiled, here are the first photos and info. Big news this year for the arrival of two Sherco motorcycles two parts: a 250 (250 SE-R) and 300 (300 SE-R) engines and Chasssis Sherco 100%. The 2-stroke engines have a feed carburetor (Keihin), but two motorcycles were designed to be able to receive "fast" an electronic fuel injection (2015?) System.

Sherco did not neglected its 4-stroke models (250 and 300) which have many technical developments such as changing the engine running (54.8 x76mm) on the 250 4 stroke engine to improve the extension. Or a new injection system for the SEF 300 (4T), which requires 30 months of development and has the distinction of having a pressure sensor and a temperature sensor located directly in the injector body sensors can correct carburetion in real time depending on the fouling of the air filter and also allow for a better response to blow gas and optimum engine brake management.
Feature of this range 2014 to Sherco chosen not to Kick on his motorcycle (2stroke and 4 stroke) and equip them all with an electric starter (+ battery).

if you want to make your bike go REALLY fast then tip in a can of V8 veggie juice every tankful.(Warning. this last statement is SATIRE)

These tires are based on the works tires used by the factory riders and feature staggered center knobs, variable knob height on the side knobs, anti-bounce rubber in the sidewalls and knob-within-knob transition knobs.

Motor is set up for DI, nothing surer, looks like a sled DI barrel.

Reckon? You could call it a RC valve...Honda did when CRs first got them 10 years ago.

Love the rear-exit alternator/CAS wiring, out of harms way. Hate the plug-type exhaust flange, they always leak, the rest of the civilised 2T bike world dumped them years ago.

Yeah,like Mal said don't buy one.Here I was,thinking I'd buy something left field.
They're becoming like sphincters.Everybodys got one.
Oh,and after 10 years on an XR,the issue of no kickstsarter isn't an issue.

I like it, it looks really good. I'd wouldn't buy one now though if they will be switching to injection next year.

The 2014 Sherco might just be be enough to sway me back to a 2 stroke. I'll will likely be looking to replace my ride then anyway.

Looks horn

I'd love a Sherco if there were more support for aftermarket parts.

Good to know they're including a battery with this electric starter...
