After reading the PDF on laws and bike registration, it would seem to me that unless your own private land, race track or bike park is specificaly declared to NOT be a road it is in fact classed as a road because it wasnt declared to not be one so you therefor need to be licenced and registered everywhere. what chance have we got.......

Did a Team Moto dirt course at Tivoli motorcross track the weekend before xmas. Was fun and even learnt some(finally got good at doing 40 foot jumps on the XR400). I would highly recomend this for parents as a way to improve the skills of the little tackers. They can also sign off on the log books for kids who race.

FYI That location is incorrect. That location is actually owned by a church, they used to let ppl ride there without any hassel till some tossa threw a couple of rocks through the church's windows. Now its a no go zone.

The correct location is lat=-27.7637960754, lon=152.843100837

Not that its open anymore, you can see where they used to ride before they opened the park as the images on Google Earth are always 12-18 months old.

Maybe some of the riders on the Gold Coast, should read this thread, instead of riding through the bush in Upper Coomera.
