Rab's Beerburrum Ride Report 11/07/09

Of coarse thanks to our lead for the day Dale (DrowiningAccreditedLeadExtrordinare) for a great loop as per usual, and thanks also to our sweep Rob for an excellent job.

We rode a different side of Beerburrum today that was sandy and really and I mean really full of bogholes . Dale put some nice hills into the loop that were greasy and challenging but great fun and there was alot of team assistance when required (most of us required it). The shananigans and laghs were aplenty.

Highlights that I saw today were: Rabs getting attacked by a stringy tree half way up a hill, Cracka has photo evidence, Simon deliberatly roosting Neville?, CMG attacking the hills proving Qwerty is a poof, the fun dragging each other through the bogholes and watching Freak attack Big Red .

Plenty of other great moments, thanks to all and good to meet more DBWers. Ditchy was a tad abusive and negative to me today, what have I done

Thanks again everyone

Does the place ever dry out or are the bog holes a permanent feature there?

Seems to be a place where I will never take my 650 as no one would want to have to pull it out of a bog hole.

great ride, i reckon i must have been a pig in a past life as i was lovn the bog holes, i quickly worked out it was better to chance the bog hole through the middle than take a detour through the bush most of the time, mind you i was cursing going through that creek bed and then the trail out as i managed to loop my bike out on that bit.

A special mention to CMG for getting that big dr650 up some of those hills especially with the 3/4 worn dual sports.... qwerty will be proud

attacked by a tree my arse ! One sly fecker with a camera and his ghey giggling sidekick with a branch trying to poke my eyes out at 40k . Bastards ! Great fun again and really gaining confidence. Some hairy moments going way too fast into bends only to be met with a huge boghole sideways. Top day out again. Cheers.

Thanks to Dale and Rob for lead/ sweep. You certainly put on a great loop Dale. Thanks to everyone who rode as well..........................even Simon. Did I get a serve when I dropped those clothes on the laundry floor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looked like someone had sprayed me with a fire hose of calf shit!!!..

Really ebjoyed the day folks,
