you need to have the lock locked (not closed) to get them out

take the cover plate off from the edge , where the lock is , there will be a screw to undo that holds the barrel in place , undo those screws and remove the barrel.

Usually you have to lock the barrel to get it out, if the above doesnt work grab some pliers or vice grips and just snap the barrel back, and push it out (you will be surprised how easy it is).

Ya rooted.
You'll need a key to turn the barrel spiggot out of the 'anti tamper mode' to get the barrel out. Without being able to get the barrel out you can't get the main latch assembly out either. They design the suckers so no one can remove the locking mechanism with out the key. The only way is to damage the screen door itself (using tools like on robo's pic). And after that, the door will be a bin job. Ya rooted.

Laser disc 4'' grinder, destroy the barrel without doing too much damage to the door, then go buy a new barrel like you need to do anyhow seeing as you have lost the key.
Slim chance of success but as Hoobz pointed out, you are already up the proverbial creek so you haven't got much to lose.

If you can, get the door down to a locksmith and they can open it within a couple of minutes for $10-$20 otherwise drill the lock out and try use a big screw driver to spin the lock.

Have a go at picking it yourself. Hit google with 'lock picking', study a bit, make up a 'pick' out of brick banding (cut out the pick shape using decent tin snips) or something and have a crack. You're lucky, because by the looks of what I can tell in the pic, the lock barrel is for a single edged key (not a double edge job), so it will be fairly easy. Have a crack for sure. It's easier than you think, especially with cheapo or worn locks. Even better >> Cheapo and worn locks. Everyone should have a go. But do some studying up on it first. It's a skill that comes in very handy occassionally. I've picked locks infront of people (I'm a chippy and fit locks often, so relax) and they think you're either really cool or a crim
