Thumbs down

And nothing is still matching up to my bike, I have spare wires at the front, one set is black, light blue and dark blue, then i have a pair, red and yellow, and one single green spare. I thought the blue black light blue would be headlight but it seems to flash like a indicator, and no there not the indicators, they work fine. I have no horn, so they should be mixed up in there somewhere, id tested with a multimeter and i cant make head nor tail of any of it. Does anyone have even the same colour wiring set up as this or is mine a mutant??

Red and yellow is your horn.

Have you checked that the others don't connect to your speedo?

When the high beams are on, does the light for the high beams light up?

When the blinkers are on, does the blinker light flash?

When the ignition is on, with the bike off is there a light that is illuminated near or on the speedo?

These are the only things I can see that might have something to do with them.

yeah cheers, however ive done the usual checks like that, and i dont have the original speedo anymore so that also poses a problem. however the red a yellow being horn i shall look into more, is it ground that activates it or positive?

I'm not sure which the horn is.

I take it that the bike has no speedo on it?

One of the blue wires and the black wire would possibly go to the speedo illumination globe. On the ADR diagram, number 16.

I think the other blue wire goes to the tail light, I'm not 100% on that though. I think this one would be found on the wiring diagram in the service manual. Trace the blue wire from the gray three way plug under the seat coming from the tail light. I think that will be the one you've got at the front. It should be connected to the head light somewhere so the tail light will illuminate when the head light is on.
