I got them done. Cant remember the rates ATM but I've got the paperwork and the packaging hanging around somewhere. I'll dig them out.

Still on the job re the paperwork.
Packing boxes are generic, except - Fork Spring box contains code 19-110-50.
New shock is black, as opposed to stock white.
I've got the old girl on a hunt for the paperwork.... Later: which is proving elusive

Tekniks site is short on details, but what the old girl got was a DR650 Stage 1 Suspension Upgrade which reminds me that she got basic emulators as well, as part of that package.

Later: OK Tekniks site not so short on detail if you poke around.
I asked them to fit springs for 110kg load to give me some capacity for gear and load.
According to their calculator, that results in a 5.6N/mm fork rate and a 73N/mm shock rate - and from memory that sounds familiar.

Later Still: Its all starting to come back to me. I was initially after something like 6+N/mm front and 80N/mm back, until Nik straightened me out with a little lecture about how I'd regret it cause it would be far too stiff. I took his word for it, and he proceeded to calculate my needs based on 85kg weight which was at least 5kg shy of my actual weight then (and 10kg shy of my current weight). Cant complain about the results though - nicely balanced, no bottoming, and no fork dive - which was a dangerous problem I experienced on the stock setup. Apparently they compensate for load in their rate calculation - with some sort of hush hush formula.

Even Later Still: I now remember exactly how he came to calculate rates based on 85kg - my weight at the time was 90kg, I promised Nik I was determined to lose 5kg, but instead I've gained 5 kilos - thats over about 5-6 years. Maybe I havent been 85 kilos for a decade (for those interested).

Despite having sold 4 of my past 5 bikes on DBW, I'm really just getting my shit together for what I expect to be a local sale.
