  • Cal Crutchlow has been ruled unfit to ride as a result of complications from recent Scalfoid surgery. Heal well Cal.

I thought my feet were hanging out the end of the bed... So I got out to have a look. They weren't:grinning-

    • A Yamaha lockout! Jack fifth=not bad considering FP times. Ohh brother it's going to be a tense first turn with both the Yamahas and Suzukis (just behind Jack) having better holeshot devices. Jack's a good starter (touch wood) so he hopefully can slot into 3rd or 4th without being T-boned. Fingers crossedX.

      • Jack and Baggers SxS too. That could be interesting.

Hondas - nowhere. Last and second last. Pig has been defending them again saying if Marc was there.... But he ain't.

        • Just noticed Remy got second in qualifying. Good one. I wonder how he sleeps at night knowing he rejected the KTM offer.

          • Remy was topping warm up until a massive highsided. Looked bad while he lay there not moving. Luckily he got up and walked away. Canet pipped him for top time.

I'll back the old boy (Vale) tonight. If he is ever going to win again, this is his chance.

Jack with the cut back in turn 1? Jack for a Win.

Yeah that was a big crash. I thought for sure he'd broken a leg again. Looks like he's done an ankle and a wrist.

                        • You'd have to say if Marquez came back next race, he could still win the championship.
8 races to go. That's 200 points in wins.

                          • I love this format of racing 2 weekends in a row at the same circuit. Shows how much they can improve. Lap times in FP2 are stunning.

Binder on top and just 0.2 outside Maverick's all time lap record set in the test on Tuesday.

The question has to be asked, "are they all going faster because Marquez not being there has given them a new hope"? And conversely "If Marquez was there, would he be still well in front of the pack"?

It's good that Marquez is not there but at the same time it's annoying.

Yes for sure, its a natural reaction and or happens naturally , if the current hero is not there, everyone will go 110% no matter what you race .
