Spac has been out with some issues and I moved states. I looked at some ways of setting up contributions but nothing was simple. I'm open for suggestions, as I can't see us paying forever.

I'm a part of another ad-free forum and contribute voluntarily to help with hosting costs. Happy to do that here

I don't have a lot of bike news these days, and don't ride as much as I used to (got family now), trying to keep myself at it though.

                Thanks for DBW-alive Craigy:
                We appreciate it/you & Spac.

There's finance options such as "Patreon" and "Go Fund Me" etc.

                DBW was once-primally dirt-bikes;-
                off-shoot notions being secondary:

These days; we're still into dirt bikes:-
Our aching bones morphed our focus.

By enabling contributions; DBW are appreciated & do-earn merit-kudos.

I'd gladly contribute financially:- As would others:- I'm surely convinced.

This bodgy vBulletin is a pita & likely caused people to exit via frustration:

                The interface an-arse: Well-meaning
contributers will & do simply give-up.

Imo; somebody desperately needs to login & fix-it: Or atleast try: Have a go.

Edit: Share your trip Craigy: We can-all vicariously appreciate & get a feeling?

I've jumped on from time to time.......I dislike the whole FaceCrack thing but unfortunately its all the younger blokes know of. Mention DBW and few know of it, yet theres quite a few Glasshouse (QLD) forum groups that I check over daily. DBW tho always had banter going on multiple threads all the time, FB just can't compete with that, even with the add-ons and shizz which

Anyways, it sucks DBW ain't what it used to be, but its cool to find it still here, and with new posts from time to time from familiar peeps.

So it appears a fair number of people have 'checked in' in the last 4 weeks here but are pretty well on the down low for posting anything (self included)...at least the door is still open.

                    Just-now... I perused DBW-Members-online:-
Pains me that I don't recognise any of yoose.
Yet, I'd reckon I'd/we'd lov yoose-all:- Do post.

so there are plenty of bike forums on the net...........KTM talk, etc, etc and DBW is even on FaceBook but I wonder if its the simple interactivity FB has that makes a lot of difference to attracting people to it. Like I'm on at least six different ride groups on FB, and most have running conversations that I get in my Messenger box hourly, and cause those groups I'm with are local I get heaps of'who's riding tomorrow, whats Glassy conditions like today, should I buy a DEP pipe over xxxx brand' all the time. Granted it gets annoying sometimes but mostly its a prompter that keeps you informed of whats happening locally 24/7.

Maybe thats why DBW doesn't work so well on Facebook cause DBW is broader audience wise, or maybe its the lack of local relevance that means people look elsewhere?
