and me, wouldn't mind a Moderna next year, not too fussed. 14 weeks for full (Astra) protection was a bloody long time.

Gladys has to stop the press conferences, she wants too make big freedom announcements every day but there aren't any, and the "National plan" means when the shit hits the fan she'll have to back track.

McGowan's seemingly ridiculous closed border stance is because his health care has already gone yellow alert with no Covid. My Sister is a Nurse in Perth and they keep cancelling elective surgeries because they can't keep up with the regular scheduled work load, not that that's anything new for anywhere in Oz.

They should just get up, state the number of new cases, number of hospitalisations, number of deaths, then answer questions. None of the guff.

Barr is the least-worst, mostly because Coleman is the best communicator of the lot of them, Berejiklian is the worst, despite her natural skill at communicating because she's obviously aware of the political implications of it all.

That said, I am not comfortable with the end of the pressers. Seems like a mix of running away and giving up.

Perhaps the second dose taken early reduces the effectiveness of the second dose to 55%?

Thats what im saying[ i mean Lancet/medical journal is saying] . Maybe fresh antibodies attacking the old ones in a given period .

One of the reasons for the daily Media circus is so the Gov gets to release the daily numbers with some verbal diarrhea to smooth it over. Maybe now we can get the 8 pm numbers from the day before in a timely fashion, NSW numbers come out 2 and a half hours after Vics we're not sugar coating it numbers.
