I agree. It has a number of faults I can ignore or accept, but the ergonomics are just too tall for me.
I wanted it to be the Bultaco Alpina I had back in the dark ages - it wasnt.

Not too hard to lower those fleerides , could sag it down quite a bit, and at least one or 2 cm in the seat[shave]

Sounds fairly straightforward Popes. All you gotta do is make me a respectable offer and its yours to hack. I've even got a spare seat (part of the sale) that you can practise on.

Easy enough to lower but different genre ,the old 2t go anywhere bikes (Alpina) had massive ground clearance for their low seat heights, lower the current crop of bikes compromised to fit 4t motors and that are flat from petrol cap to rear mudguard and you end up with no ground clearance, then you're better off with a KDX or DT 200, won't have the slugger balls of the older bread but at least they're manueverable.

That, brothers and sisters, is the gospel truth. My Alpina was a 350 too.

                    I'm pleased for this-thread to be "content", even-if OldManRiver's hogging-it on-a tangent.
Yoose missed his posts in reference to me (he deleted them), trust-me; do-doubt us-both.
                    Edit: It did-begin as-a thread for-spat between-us; became-like-his-too: I do-like-our's-too.

Edit2: People can have a spat here. It's all fun.. I love yoose hairy arses... I do love mine.
Who knows who, if any, Mod's are awake & active atm? Please do & will keep it civil atm.
