i was on the reef for a week in October marlin fishing, the boat we were on had Starlink and it worked great out their also.
We have a amazing coastline that is for sure , fishing is unreal up here in the Torres Strait’s, I d go as far as to say even better than the coral sea reef systems
We have used starlink from as far out as Cato , it’s a great piece of tech

Sure do. I camped just inside the mouth of the Jardine for a couple of weeks in September. Had a 3.8m tinny, explored up the river and offshore. Big barra, plenty of jacks, huge sharks and massive crocs. Could probably see TI from there.
We had to get out of the boat and walk it across sand banks to get up the river at low tide when the fishing was good, sometimes up to waist deep. It was pretty unsettling for a bloke from nsw after seeing at close quarters the size of some of the crocs up there.
I have it, where i live there is virtually no internet apart from 4G which is garbage......................just ran a speed test, 184 up 15.5 down, had it for more than a year now only ever had a proper drop out which was for 1/2 an hour which was a world wide event, nothing in my are is even close, best thing ever which allows me to work from home and I am totally off grid for everything FTW
