Email sent! They definitely look the goods!

I have found these for the gasser, but I think it's just a cover to go over the stock cover. Still may help?

          What are they worth Chris?

And did you ever end up getting in contact with Gerard re the plastic covers he has been selling?

I don't like the look or feel of the weight saving cover that comes stock.. I like my old heavy one bettera.

Fiddled some more, getting squish for sending the head off

            RE PV noise:
Actuating arm is different to the one in that video, and the end of the arm is hitting on the cover. Perfect crescent moon engraved onto the inside.

Tore the gasket taking it off, its made up of a sponge like material I've never encountered before. I hope some goo reseals it okay

Not sure on the solution yet.

The older ones used a single thin gasket. I noticed the newer 18 had the thicker gasket and later realised why. I would simply hit your dealer up for a new gasket. This one isn't providing enough clearance clearly. I'll keep an eye on mine too. Many people had issues with the old pin that the linkage hooked over breaking out of the plate. The newer style is more ktm-ish.. but ideally they should have cast the cylinder or made a new PV cover rather than a big fat gasket fix.

I'll check the price tomorrow and let you know.
I did get in touch with Gerard, but I haven't made any order yet.

I'd prefer a thicker cover, too.. but I haven't broken it yet, either

              • Iíve made a p/v gasket out of some 8mm thick nylon sourced from the linkage guard extension on an a axp bashplate as the original on 2015 onwards will compress it over torqued or re-used.
                Works a treat forever!
By the way, the GP has just done 150 hrs.
                Still tight, still in love!
